Books written to be used.

Distinct Learners Series™ publishes short, specific, finished books for people who want to do something with what they read rather than collect it. Every title is under two hundred pages, has a single argument, and ends somewhere.

The name is the instruction: read widely, grow distinctly.

The promise

Learn. Create. Lead.

Three verbs, in order. Each one is a different kind of book, and each collection in the library is built around one of them.

  1. Learn

    The first collection. For starting something and losing momentum. Arithmetic, structure, and a fortnight plan you can actually keep.

  2. Create

    The second. Writing, editing, finishing. Nothing here is about inspiration, because inspiration is not the part that is hard.

  3. Lead

    The third. For the first eighteen months of real responsibility, written by people who made those mistakes first and said so.

Every title has a free sample chapter, in full. We would rather you read us before you pay than complain afterwards.

Pay on Paystack

Card or bank transfer on Paystack's own page. We never see your card number, and we only grant access once the payment is confirmed on our side.

Read in your library

The title lands in your library and reads on any device you sign in on. No download, no file, nothing to pass on.

What we publish
  • A book with one argument, not five.
  • Under two hundred pages, because a book you finish beats a book you admire.
  • Something the author has actually done, not only thought about.
  • Honest limitations — including a chapter that says when a book cannot help you.
What we do not publish
  • Books padded to hit a word count.
  • Testimonials or reviews we cannot verify.
  • Health, legal or financial advice from someone unqualified to give it.
  • Anything whose author will not state their sources.

For authors

Written something worth finishing?

We read every submission ourselves and reply either way. If your book fits the series, we will talk about terms before you spend anything on production. If it does not fit, you will get a straight answer and, usually, a specific reason.
